Saker turns 50 years old on January 29, 2012. As I write, Sakerettes from all over the world have converged in Limbe at Saker and the festivities have been underway for at least three days. Thanks to all the Alumni in Cameroon who have put a lot of their time and resources in the planning of this weekend's activities. ExSSA-USA President , Esther Tanga Gadpaille, Vice President, Susannah Mondoa, Organizing Secretary, Joyce Ashuntangtang and a host of other ExSSA-USA members are in Cameroon representing the organization in style, while those left behind are salivating as they hear news of the activities and see pictures that their sisters cannot help but send via various media. Meanwhile, I cannot say enough about what the angelic voices of the Sakerettes have done to entertain our fellow Cameroonians and raise money for this event. Like being in heaven on earth. A select group of ExSSA-USA medical professionals along with their Nigerian counterparts based in the United States completed the first leg of the two part Cameroon Medical Mission on July 11. This leg of the mission led by our very own Dr. Rachel Kientcha-Tita, a physician and Pharmacist who runs a private medical clinic in Houston, TX, comprised of educating patients on disease management and diagnosing and treating patients with general ailments such as diabetes, hypertension, etc.

March 26, 2011 was community service day for Ex Saker Baptist College Alumnae at the St Francis Center in Los Angeles.

In keeping with our mission of providing service to the community, EXSSA-USA organized a Health Fair in Houston, Texas on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
