Campaign for Saker

To that end, ExSSA-USA has pledged to carry out at least one project in Saker Baptist College and one project in the local communities where the Association has chapters. For the past 4 years, the Association has worked hard to keep its commitment of service to Saker Baptist College. Listed below is a partial summary of some of our accomplishments we have achieved to date with the help of our local chapters:

• Annual donations of medications to Saker Baptist College (Dallas Chapter).
• Annual Scholarships for the best all-around student in Forms 1 - upper 6th (Dallas Chapter).
• Annual Scholarships to the best motherly student in Form 5 & Upper 6th (Dallas Chapter).
• Contributed 1 million frs CFA to Saker and ExSSA-Cameroon for the chapel project (Houston Chapter).
• Contributed $1500 to ExSSA-Cameroon for the chapel project (Washington, DC chapter).
• Donations of supplies to the Saker dispensary/sick bay (Washington, DC chapter).
• Contributed $1500 to ExSSA-Cameroon for Saker's 40th anniversary celebration.
• Donated personalized pens, cups & pencils to ExSSA-Cameroon for Saker's 40th anniversary celebration (Ruby anniversary).

OUR VISION

Our plans are ambitious. Our goals are visionary. It will take all our intellectual and physical energy, all our commitment to leadership and service, to seize the opportunities that stand before us and chart the course of transformation that lies ahead.

We will need resources, therefore we are embarking on the largest capital campaign in Saker Baptist College 's history. While no official goal has yet been established, between now and 2005, we are seeking to raise more than $50,000 to ensure the unfaltering continuation of Saker's mission and leadership.

Since its inception, Saker Baptist College has flourished through several periods of intense growth and change in its history, and today it is in the midst of another exciting new period of transformation. As a result, ExSSA-USA is urging you to unite with us for this great adventure -- the adventure of leading Saker Baptist College through the 21st century. It will require vision, commitment, and new resources to continue the transformation of our great institution into an even greater one.

To ensure our success in meeting our goals, we are planning the most ambitious fundraising campaign in Saker's history. In order for this $50, 000 capital campaign to succeed, we will need strong public support and strong partnerships.
