Miss Binder, Legendary Vice Principal of Saker Baptist College receives surprise birthday gift and Gratitude from Sakerettes worldwide

According to Dr. Lum Fube who led this effort the gift is “a token of appreciation of ALL Ms. Binder has been and still is in the lives of Sakerettes all over the world.”
The original plan was for Sakerettes to converge in Bismarck, North Dakota on the weekend of Ms. Binder’s birthday, March 22 and celebrate Ms. Binder in her local community while volunteering for her favorite charities. However covid-19 intervened and the event was canceled. Nevertheless Lum Fube and her team of organizers persisted to make sure the planned surprise gift still got to Ms. Binder. They were quite impressed with the contributions from various class groups. It turned out to be a huge gift of $11,184. This was beyond their estimated goal.  Little is much when God is in It.
We all wish Ms. Binder blessings from above, many more birthdays and good health.

MISS BINDER’S RESPONSE:
Ms. Binder was overwhelmed with the kindness. She sent the card below in gratitude.

In Ms Binder's own words

In Ms Binder’s own words….

“My heartfelt thanks to each one of you who contributed to my birthday bank. I am very grateful for your generosity. The tithe from this money will be used to buy a cow for Steer Mission Inc. The cow will be farmed out to a Christian farmer who will provide food and each year, the calf will be sold for about $900 and their money will be used to support homeless orphan children in Brazil. So indirectly you will be helping to support orphans as God has directed us to support widows and orphans.
May God bless you and remember God’s word says “Give and it shall be given unto you…..”
Sincerely with love
Ms Binder/Mbamba

We thank God for the life of Ms. Binder as a missionary. We may not have understood it completely when we were growing teenagers at Saker Baptist College. We understand it now.
